Freshness wrappers are a packaging film that act as an outer barrier against oxygen, and other factors that cause staleness. Like many packaging products that require barrier properties (cereal, chocolate, dairy etc.). We are working with our supplier to find a solution that is more environmentally friendly. We have been advised by them that a full compostable/recyclable wrapper in underway with their R&D department, but it will take time to come into product. We are looking forward to announcing this change!
