Absolutely. Every franchisee is enrolled in our comprehensive Jumping Bean Training Program, which blends online modules with hands-on in-store experience. You’ll learn everything from daily operations and staffing to customer experience and product knowledge. Training costs are included in your franchise fee—just cover your travel-related expenses.
Location is everything. Our real estate strategy focuses on high-traffic, high-visibility areas that offer convenient access for customers—whether on foot or by car. We aim for sites that support long-term growth and brand presence.
Yes—with collaboration. We maintain a list of available territories, but if you have a specific site in mind, we’re happy to explore it with you. Our team will assess its potential to ensure it aligns with Jumping Bean’s standards for success.
We do—together. Jumping Bean designs each café to reflect local character while maintaining brand consistency. As a Franchise Partner, you sign a Construction Management Agreement and cover the build-out, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Our experienced development team manages the process to ensure your café is built efficiently and beautifully.
Our Operations Team supports you every step of the way. Before opening day, we work with you to set up the store, stock your initial inventory, and prepare your space. You’ll hire your own team and train them alongside us during the commissioning phase, so you’re ready to hit the ground brewing.
Royalty Fee: 6% of gross weekly sales
National Marketing Contribution: 3% of gross weekly sales (1% is corporate, 2% self directed marketing)

Use of Jumping Bean trademarks and operational systems
Field support and business coaching

Ongoing franchisee training

Technology, communication, and reporting platforms
A Jumping Bean franchise typically requires $275,000 to $375,000 CAD (excluding GST). This includes the $25,000 franchise fee. Costs vary based on store size, landlord contributions, and local build-out expenses.
Jumping Bean requires you to invest at least 30% of the total amount in liquid capital. Financing may be available through Canadian banks via the Small Business Loan program.
